Melbourne City FC has confirmed that Emin Durakovic will depart the club following the conclusion of his contract. A product of the City Academy, Durakovic joined Melbourne City at the age of 12 and progressed through the club’s development pathway. He earned a scholarship contract in 2022 and signed his first professional contract in 2023. Durakovic made his senior debut in January 2025, going on to make 33 appearances across all competitions, including 28 during the 2025/26 campaign. Michael Petrillo, the Director of Football at Melbourne City FC, expressed gratitude for Durakovic's contributions to the club.
